Amy Lichty has been providing human potential strategies for business and industry, federal government, non-profit agencies and individuals since 1984. She has consulted with leaders at all levels, designed and delivered programs, facilitated teams, coached managers, counseled individuals and created development systems. Her personal and professional coaching business, Dreamweavers Institute, focuses on Integrative Life Planning and Talent Optimization.
Previously Amy was Manager of Professional Development for an aerospace company with 9,000 employees. Responsible for the talent management strategy, she integrated professional development with the performance management process and engaged managers in career coaching. She contributed to the design of the corporation’s web-based performance management system and was project manager for the business unit’s cross-functional implementation team. She also created a state-of the-art virtual professional development center.
Prior to that, Amy’s work included a start-up career management system for a federal agency’s recruitment and retention initiative, career and retraining programs for a non-profit agency, and career counseling with private clients.
Amy is an active member and served on the Board (2003 - 2006) of the Minnesota Career Development Association and is a Past President of the California Career Development Association. A conservationist, she also serves on the Board of Directors of Minnesota Waters and the Crow Wing County Planning and Zoning Commission. Amy is an avid birder and enjoys working from her lake home where she can watch a variety of birds pass through her yard.
